Agreement to Terms

By joining the SkiCoach 2.0 waitlist, by downloading, or by using the SkiCoach app, you agree to these Terms of Service. This page has two parts: Part A covers the SkiCoach 2.0 waitlist (live now). Part B covers the SkiCoach app โ€” both the current v1.x release and the upcoming v2.0.

Part A ยท Waitlist

What the Waitlist Is

Joining the waitlist signals your interest in being notified when SkiCoach 2.0 launches. You are not purchasing anything. The waitlist is free. No payment is taken.

First-100 Reward

The first 100 verified email signups receive a Season Pass code (โ‚ฌ19.99 value) at launch.

  • โœ“ Email must be valid and deliverable
  • โœ“ Code valid for the 2026โ€“27 ski season (October 2026 โ€“ April 2027)
  • โœ“ Non-transferable, no cash value
  • โœ“ One reward per email; duplicates and disposable addresses are disqualified
  • โœ“ Contingent on SkiCoach 2.0 actually launching

Referral Reward

If 3+ verified friends sign up via your referral code, you get a PRO Lifetime upgrade (โ‚ฌ39.99 value) at launch.

  • โœ“ Verified = unique, non-disposable email
  • โœ“ One PRO Lifetime upgrade per account (no stacking)
  • โœ“ Fraudulent or self-referrals disqualify the entire referral count
  • โœ“ We may disqualify signups that appear automated or coordinated

All-Members Reward

Every verified waitlist member is eligible for 50% off PRO Lifetime or ELITE Lifetime during launch week. The discount is delivered via the launch email and is time-limited (7 days from launch). It does not stack with the First-100 or Referral rewards above.

Beta Testing Program

Beta access is granted at our discretion (target: 50 testers). The reward (PRO Lifetime free, โ‚ฌ39.99 value) requires:

  • โ€ข At least 3 complete ski sessions recorded in the beta build
  • โ€ข At least 1 written bug report or actionable feedback item, sent to beta@skicoach.app

Beta participation is voluntary. You can withdraw at any time. Bug reports and feedback you submit may be used by us to improve the app, including in marketing materials (anonymized โ€” your name is never published without your written consent).

Launch Date

We target September 2026. App Stores may delay review. If the launch slips, you'll be emailed with a new date and all rewards carry over to the new launch date.

License to Use

What You Get

What You Don't Get

  • โœ— Right to reverse-engineer
  • โœ— Right to resell or redistribute
  • โœ— Ownership of IP (AI algorithms, scoring models, name, logo)

Current v1.x: Free + PRO โ‚ฌ19.99 (one-time). SkiCoach 2.0 (launching September 2026): the four tiers below replace the v1.x model. Existing v1.x PRO buyers are protected โ€” see Founding Members below.

One-time, lifetime

  • โ€ข Everything in PRO, plus:
  • โ€ข GPS run replay + Season Intelligence
  • โ€ข Anonymized benchmarking + 3-page PDF
  • โ€ข Snowboard mode included

Snowboard Add-on (โ‚ฌ9.99): non-consumable in-app purchase, available to PRO Lifetime users only. Already included in ELITE.

Founding Members (Legacy PRO)

If you bought SkiCoach PRO at โ‚ฌ19.99 before September 2026, you are a Founding Member. When SkiCoach 2.0 launches:

  • โœ“ You are automatically upgraded to ELITE Lifetime at no extra cost (โ‚ฌ69.99 value)
  • โœ“ Snowboard mode is included for you forever
  • โœ“ You see a one-time welcome dialog on first v2.0 launch โ€” no action required
  • โœ“ Your original PRO entitlement is preserved as a fallback

This applies only to PRO entitlements purchased before SkiCoach 2.0's public launch and verified through Apple App Store or Google Play receipts.

Payment Terms

  • โ€ข Lifetime tiers (PRO, ELITE, Snowboard Add-on): one-time non-consumable purchases. No recurring charges.
  • โ€ข Season Pass: one-time non-renewing seasonal purchase. Does NOT auto-renew. You repurchase manually each season if you wish to extend.
  • โ€ข Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see card or bank details.
  • โ€ข Prices are shown in EUR; local currency conversion is handled by Apple/Google.

Refund Policy

  • โ€ข Refunds are handled directly by Apple App Store and Google Play under their respective policies.
  • โ€ข Apple: request via reportaproblem.apple.com (typically within 14 days).
  • โ€ข Google Play: request via your Google Play Order History (typically within 48 hours, longer cases via Play support).
  • โ€ข EU consumers retain their statutory 14-day withdrawal rights for digital purchases, where applicable under the Digital Content Directive (EU 2019/770) โ€” subject to the loss of withdrawal once the digital content is downloaded with your consent.
  • โ€ข Add-ons and lifetime tiers refunded by Apple/Google are revoked in-app at next purchase verification.

  • โš ๏ธ Skiing and snowboarding are inherently dangerous activities
  • โš ๏ธ Always wear a certified helmet and appropriate protective gear
  • โš ๏ธ Ski within your ability โ€” never beyond it
  • โš ๏ธ Follow resort rules, signage, and local laws
  • โš ๏ธ Do not look at the phone screen while skiing โ€” use audio coaching only
  • โš ๏ธ Do not rely on the app for safety โ€” it is a training tool, not a guardian
  • โš ๏ธ Fall detection is best-effort and not guaranteed to trigger in every incident

Liability Limitations

SKIING RISKS: We are NOT liable for skiing or snowboarding accidents, injuries, equipment damage, or losses. You ski at your own risk.

TECHNICAL: GPS and sensor accuracy depend on device, weather, and terrain. Scores are estimates, not medical or professional assessments. Fall detection and emergency features are best-effort.

MAXIMUM LIABILITY: Limited to the amount you paid for the app within the past 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Austrian or EU consumer protection law.

Medical Disclaimer

SkiCoach is NOT a medical device. It is for recreational skill improvement only. The app does not provide medical advice, injury diagnosis, rehabilitation guidance, or emergency response. Consult qualified professionals for medical concerns, rehabilitation, or competitive performance training.

Intellectual Property

  • โ€ข "SkiCoach" name, logo, and the AI scoring algorithms (Edge Control, Turn Quality, Speed Score) are trademarks and IP of Dipl.-Ing. Mihajlo Grmaลก / Brand Seeds Studio e.U.
  • โ€ข App source code and ML models are our proprietary IP
  • โ€ข Your skiing data belongs to YOU โ€” exportable as CSV, GPX, or JSON anytime

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Austrian law. Place of jurisdiction: Graz, Austria. EU consumer protection rights are unaffected. EU dispute resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when product features change (e.g. when v2.0 launches). The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated by email to waitlist members and via in-app notification to existing app users.
